Clamshell Wampum Beads Purple

Prized by the Eastern Woodland tribes, these clamshell wampum beads come pre-strung with 35 beads per strand. Each bead is approximately 4 x 9mm in size. Prized as ornaments for traditional peace belts, necklaces, and chokers, these Dyed, color correct purple Clam shell beads offer a timeless beauty with a special significance. This Dyed Purple Wampum bead is much more affordable than the authentic highly expensive purple wampum.

Peace belts were presented to other tribes and colonies as a way to seal Peace Treaties. Peace belts, the rows, colors, and symbols have significant connection to each others bands and tribes.  A Peace belt is never ended, thus offer the ability for inclusion.
