This type of Tin cone has been one of the most useful supplies in the trimming of various craft projects.
This "Trade" item has been dated back to as early as 1650. This was recorded through a Pequot specimen, and spread over most of the Native North American communities.
This traditional style using tin plated steel; offers a delightful musical tinkling sound when in motion. (Unlike the muffled sound of recently introduced aluminum.)
The 1/2 " size is perfect for combining with Red dyed deer hair to make moccasins and Pouch Fringes.
3/4" - 1 1/4" is used in various projects including Jingle Dress Dolls, Regalia, Shawls, trims, Pouches, Purses etc.
